WOW, saw this brilliant CX500 custom on Silodrome. Love how he flipped the tank around. Incredible amount of work went into this.

Suzuki Bandit. I thought it was a 400cc but I’m told it’s the 250cc model.
If Suzuki made this available today, Ninja 250 and Hyosung GT250 sales would halve overnight.

And that’s why I stopped driving!

If you ever feel down or you just don’t feel like you have a friend in the world, hop on your motorcycle and take a ride around town. Just count how many other riders throw you the peace sign, a wave or just a friendly nod. When was the last time you did this or got this gesture while driving your car? Sadly I can’t say I do. I turn into a robot like everyone else. I turn up the radio and tune the world out….I don’t ride often but when I do its is a fun experience. Maybe it’s because a rider you pass today might not be around tomorrow. All I know is that when I ride my motorcycle I experience life just a little bit more than everyone else driving around. Nothing like the cool fast wind blasting you or the taking in the sounds and engine vibration when you twist back on the throttle. All I know is it’s fun and addicting.

Here’s your sign

so Bill Engvall has become famous in part for his Here’s your sign jokes.  They are great fun and point out often a stupid question that someone else has asked.  What he fails to point out is what happens if you try this out yourself.  My friend and I were out off roading and bottomed out the truck completely.  There wasn’t going to be a way to move the truck without the help of another vehicle.  We weren’t too worried because our friends weren’t too far away and kept cracking jokes about the situation.  A random stranger pulls up and before he can say anything, I tell him its ok to laugh.  The first words out of his mouth are, “Yah stuck?”  and just as soon as he finishes, I quickly reply, “Nope, thought this was the perfect place to park.”  He didn’t laugh and instead I believe he was insulted.  After he left, we had a good laugh about it.
